Prayer Requests

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Psalm 122:6

1. PRAISE: God answered our prayers and Mrs. Hidalgo’s daughter Shawna’s prayers, and Shawna was able to purchase the part to have her car is fixed. Lord willing, she’s planning to come see Mrs. Hidalgo in October. We pray for all the details to be worked out for her trip and for traveling mercies as she drives up from Florida.

2. PRAISE: On Tuesday, Mrs. Parker’s friend was able to get the mold removed from Mrs. Hidalgo’s car. The dealership received the trunk seal replacement two weeks earlier than promised and they were able to install the new seal – Thank you, Lord!

3. Pray for Shalom Scripture Studies, Inc., an outreach to the Jewish community, that God will provide more opportunities for us to spread His word and invite those we meet to worship with us. Please pray for our Staff and their families, our friends, and supporters of the ministry.

4. Pray for those of the Shalom congregation with unsaved loved ones: Ron Fowler’s son Ron Jr., Becky Kaminisky, Ellie Ficek, Julie’s Aunt Judy, Mrs. Hidalgo’s friend Tanya, some members of Mrs. Hidalgo’s family, Lance’s coworkers: Woody and Chris, Tracy Lowden’s husband and Alethia’s brother and niece: Benny and Hattie Britt.

5. Please continue in prayer for Mrs. Hidalgo’s daughter Cindy’s health. She is off the strong medication she was on, and she will be working with a physical therapist to address the pain and numbness in her arms. Pray for divine healing and for effective physical therapy.

6. Please pray for the well-being of Tracey Lowden, one of our loyal members who is a believer in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We pray for, “the peace of God to rule in [her] heart.” (Colossians 3:15a).

7. Tracey Lowden has requested our prayers for her sister Dana. “And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his [God’s] will, he heareth us:” (I John 5:14).

8. Please pray for Ron Fowler’s son Ron Jr. as he recovers from a recent surgery and for him, spiritually, to realize his need for salvation. Ron and Mary were with him last weekend.

9. Pray for Maryann Jurkofsky’s work friend Teresa Willard, who is very sick and will be having some blood work done to get to the bottom of her health problems. Also pray for her son, Jacob, who needs a job and has other problems he is dealing with.

10. Remember the Molloy family in prayer and pray for traveling mercies for Rev. Jack Molloy as he drives up from Naples, Florida to be with us for one of our October Shabbat services.

11. LaTeresa Reynolds, who is a dear friend of Mrs. Hidalgo, Mrs. Parker, and our Shalom family, has been a great help and encouragement to us in our new Shalom Scriptures Studies, Inc. meeting place. LaTeresa has an upcoming surgery, please pray for a successful procedure, healing, and strength from the Lord.

12. Friends of the Parker family, Michael and Kim Fields recently experienced the loss of Kim’s father. Please pray for God’s comfort and strength for this bereaved family.

13. Mrs. Hidalgo’s sister Ruby and her husband Joel have recently been sick with the flu, please pray for their full recovery. Also, Ruby has a dog named Duchess, who has a tumor, pray for healing for this sweet pup.

14. Thank you, Lord, for the Ficek family, Lance, Julie, Isaiah and Ellie, and their faithfulness to Shalom Scripture Studies, Inc. Pray for Lance as he has a demanding work schedule and is often plagued with back pain. We are thankful for the Scriptures that he brings to our Shabbat services that minister to our hearts. Pray for Julie as she manages her home, the kids, their school schedules, along with her part-time work here and elsewhere. Julie has been a great help to Mrs. Hidalgo with our brochures, programs, and mailings. Baruch Hashem for God’s calling to the Ficek family to serve with us here! The whole family is instrumental in our music program, it is a joy to hear Ellie and Isaiah’s sweet voices raised in worship to our Lord. Pray for these 9-year-old twins as they grow, most of all for their salvation, protection from the evil one and the evils in this world and that they will not “depart from” the godly training they receive here and at home. (Proverbs 22:6).

If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. James 1:5-6
