Prayer Requests
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Psalm 122:6
1. Pray for salvation for Mrs. Hidalgo’s Jewish eye doctor. Pray also for those of the Shalom congregation with unsaved loved ones, Jewish and Gentile, that God will provide opportunities for them to hear the Word of God, and that we will see the power of God in their lives leading them to salvation.
2. Pray for Shalom Scripture Studies, Inc., an outreach to the Jewish community, that God will provide more opportunities for us to spread His word and invite those we meet to worship with us. Please pray for our Staff and their families, our friends, and supporters of the ministry.
3. We pray for all the details to be worked out for Mrs. Hidalgo’s daughter Shawna to travel up to see Mrs. Hidalgo next month.
4. Please continue in prayer for Mrs. Hidalgo’s daughter Cindy’s health. She is working with a physical therapist for the next six weeks to address the pain and numbness in her arms. Pray for divine healing and for effective physical therapy.
5. Please pray for the well-being of Tracey, one of our loyal members who is a believer in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and for her sister Dana as well. We pray for, “the peace of God to rule in [their] heart[s].” (Colossians 3:15a).
6. Pray for our webmaster’s family and pray for traveling mercies for him as he drives up from Florida to be with us for our October 1st Rosh Ha-Shanah meeting.
7. LaTeresa is a beloved friend of Mrs. Parker’s and a lovely person who thinks the world of Mrs. Hidalgo. LaTeresa is having surgery on Wed., Sept. 27. We pray that the Lord will guide the surgeon’s hands and the surgery will be uneventful and LaTeresa will have a speedy recovery. LaTeresa also has the LA Cleaning Service that keeps our Shul so clean and is always available to help Mrs. Hidalgo, if she ever needs help.
8. Mrs. Hidalgo’s niece Julie starts her new job soon and is getting settled into her new place in Moscow, Idaho. Pray that she will find a place to worship with those of like faith who preach the gospel message.
9. Mrs. Hidalgo met a young lady named Jennifer this past week at her eye doctor’s office. Pray that Jennifer and her family will be able to attend our meetings.
10. Mary Ann and Julie are at a Ladies’ Retreat this weekend. Please pray that this will be a time of rest and spiritual refreshment for them.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. James 3:17-18
